Winter Blues is a conceptual live concert that fuses music, storytelling and spoken word. Adapted from her riveting collection, BLUE, Tanicia Pratt emotionally explores personal struggles of living and loving in The Bahamas through poetry, jazz and the blues.
Hosted by Princess Pratt, Winter Blues is an immersive performance that transports you through the past, present and everywhere in between. With two acts and a line-up of artists, feel the soul of old-fashioned blues blended with contemporary sounds of jazz, calypso, and R&B.
Tanicia Pratt is a poet, artist, performancer and Nassau-native. Starting her career in spoken word poetry, Tanicia is unique in blending sound, image and theatrics into her performance. The Creative Director of Winter Blues, Tanicia adapted her book to show the possibilities of poetry and to pay homage to the legacy of blues music in The Bahamas.

Nestled Over-the-Hill, between Hospital Lane and West Hill Street, the historical presence of the NAGB fits the show like a glove.
Bringing the show's signature blue essence, the concert will take place at Fiona's Theatre, within the NAGB's grounds. This venue is a smoke-free zone.
